You’re reading this now because one day, it finally hit you.” I’m in debt! I’m in real debt and its effecting my life!” I’m with you, I know the feeling. Just a couple years ago, I was drowning in debt - student loans and credit cards.
One day, I decided to get my money right. But before I started plugging in any numbers like all the debt experts tell you to — I sat down and thought long and hard about my financial goals. Not the superficial, I want to be rich, I want to be comfortable; I got specific and detailed.
Here’s some things to think about as you get your money right and pay your debt off faster:
What do I want money to do for me?? (Read that again)
In what areas of my life, do I actually need more money to make my life happier?
In what areas of my life, does money not play a role in my happiness?
Do I want more money or more time?
What thing do I want to buy? Why? Are these things important to me leading a happy life?
Think about these questions and answer them honestly. When you have finalized your financial goals, write them down. Writing down anything is extremely helpful in manifestation.
My financial goals started the first leg of my debt-free journey and really carried me to paying off over $22,000 in just 7 months!
